High Voltage Clip for Test Leads

→ The new Parrot Clips are high-voltage gripping clips for test leads and probes. High-Voltage Parrot Clips can replace insulated alligator clips, plastic-coated miniature alligator clips, small crocodile clips and large alligator clips.

→ Parrot Clips feature a new metal tube tip that is connected directly to the test lead.

→ The tip, hooked rod and spring are housed in a plastic support.

→ This plastic support is enclosed within an insulating plastic body, providing the high-voltage insulation required for test leads.

→ The PCX Parrot Clip model meets IEC 1010-231 CAT III 1000 V standards and has been tested at 8600 V.

→ The finger barriers required by IEC 1010-231 standards are positioned ergonomically, improving comfort when using the Parrot PCX and PCM clip models.

→ On other gripping clips, finger barriers can interfere with functionality, including alligator clips, insulated alligator clips, plastic-coated miniature alligator clips, small or large alligator clips, one-hook Hirschmann clips and two-hook Mueller clips.

→ On alligator, insulated alligator, miniature alligator and crocodile clips, the finger barriers are positioned away from the jaws, making it more difficult to accurately position the clip on test points. It is also difficult to properly insulate both rotating jaws of crocodile clips.
